Terms of use

Noxisfin Oy (Business ID 3584061-6, registered office in Kuusamo, Finland; “Noxisfin”) provides a digital marketplace named Servicetavern.com (the “Service”). Consumers and other private individuals (the “User”) may publish quote requests, and companies may publish service listings and contact others through the Service. Compatibility results are indicative.

By submitting a quote request, registering or otherwise using the Service, you accept these terms of use. Material changes will be notified to the User 30 days before they take effect.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

1. User account and responsibilities

Creating an account and publishing a quote request are free of charge. The User keeps their account details up to date so that companies can reach them, and is responsible for the content they publish being lawful and in line with these terms.

2. Quote requests and contact messages

A quote request is visible for 30 days from publication unless the User closes or deletes it sooner. The User receives an email reminder before it expires and may extend it free of charge. The User's contact details are not shown in the public view.

Messages between customers and companies go through the Messages page of the Service, and the recipient gets an email notice of each new message. The parties' email addresses are not shown to each other. Messages are stored in the Service and are deleted after the retention period stated in the privacy policy, or when the account is deleted.

3. Content rules and moderation

We keep the Service decent for everyone. The Service may not be used to publish discriminatory, racist, pornographic, threatening or copyright-infringing content, spam, or material that breaches consumer protection law. If content breaches these terms or the law, we may change or remove it. Content that is clearly unlawful, or that puts others at risk, we remove at once; otherwise we aim to tell the User first.

If we suspect unlawful or misleading activity, the account may be closed temporarily while we look into it. We contact the User in that case, and the matter can also be sorted out at info@noxisfin.com. Anyone may report inappropriate content using the form in the Service.

4. Limitation of liability

Our job is to bring customers and companies together and to keep the Service running. The work itself is agreed directly between the User and the company, so Noxisfin is not a party to that contract and is therefore not liable for the quality of work, performance of contracts or damage arising from the work. Nor can we guarantee that every quote request receives a reply, or that the Service runs entirely without technical interruptions.

5. Fees and right of withdrawal

Publishing a quote request is free for a registered customer (one quote request per calendar month). A quote request is visible for 30 days from publishing. You receive an email reminder before it expires and can extend its visibility for free, 30 days at a time. Adding images to a quote request is free. The User may purchase a one-off digital extra for a quote request, the Verified badge, which is enabled immediately after a successful payment.

Consumer right of withdrawal: using the Service and publishing a quote request cost nothing, so a payment arises only if the User buys an extra feature separately. Extra features are digital content that is activated immediately after payment. Where the User accepts immediate start of the service at the time of purchase, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. This is accepted in connection with the payment.

Purchases are subject to the payment terms.

6. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. These terms do not limit the rights a consumer has under mandatory law.

We aim to settle disagreements directly with the User, so please contact info@noxisfin.com first.

If the matter is not resolved, the User may ask the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board for a recommendation (kuluttajariita.fi). We recommend contacting Consumer Advisory Services first (kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta). The User may also bring the dispute before the district court of their own domicile.
