Payment terms

All payments in the Service are processed securely by a third-party payment processor, Stripe. Stripe complies with strict PCI DSS security standards. Noxisfin Oy never receives, processes or stores full payment card details, such as the card number or security code, on its own servers.

Noxisfin’s role in payments: Noxisfin Oy invoices only its own service fees. At present the only paid service is the Verified badge a customer can buy for a quote request. The price and payment for the work between the customer and the company are agreed directly between those parties outside the Service. Noxisfin does not process the payment for the work, does not hold it, and does not act as a payment intermediary or debt collector for the parties. Noxisfin is not responsible for how the work is performed, for its quality, or for the agreed price of the work being paid.

Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout in the payment processor’s checkout service.

Receipt: A receipt is emailed automatically for every successful payment. It states the seller and business ID, the receipt number, the payment date, the item purchased, the net amount, VAT and the total. A receipt documents a payment already made; it is not an invoice.

All prices stated in the Service and on the pricing page include the value added tax in force in Finland, which is 25.5 percent, unless otherwise expressly stated.

Foreign business customers: a sale to a company in another EU country is exempt from VAT under the reverse charge when the company provides a valid VAT number. A service sold to a company outside the EU, for example a Norwegian one, falls outside Finnish VAT. In both cases the receipt states the buyer's number and the grounds for the exemption. Prices on the pricing page include Finnish VAT. When you enter your company's VAT number on the payment page, the VAT is left out and you pay the price without it. If the number was left out, let us know at info@noxisfin.com and we will refund the VAT already charged.

Customers may use the Service, add images to a quote request and publish one quote request per month free of charge.

One-time payment: The customer may buy the Verified badge for a quote request as a one-time payment. The badge lifts the request to the top of the list and allows more than one quote request in the same month. It is an individual purchase, not an ongoing subscription.

Lapse of the right of withdrawal: Extra features purchased by consumers are digital content that is delivered and activated immediately after a successful payment. At the time of purchase the customer accepts immediate start of the service, which means that the 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act lapses, and one-time payments are therefore not refunded. If a purchased feature does not work as promised, please get in touch and we will sort it out.

The Service is free for companies. Publishing service listings, the company page and messages to customers cost nothing, and companies are not charged monthly or yearly fees. If a company had a paid subscription before this change, it is ended and the unused part is refunded to the payment card.
